BIC Switchgear Services has worked on electrical distribution equipment in Irondale, Alabama, since 1997.
How we got here
We opened in 1997 as a small family operation, working on switchgear for the businesses around us. The work spread by word of mouth, and the customer list grew to include businesses in a range of industries across the Southeast.
Who does the work
Our technicians are certified and have years of hands-on time with every common type of switchgear. We are licensed and insured. The equipment we are asked to look at runs from decades-old breakers to current solid-state and vacuum designs, so we keep up with changes in standards and test equipment.
Safety first
Every job runs under rigorous safety procedures. We work with your people on outages, lockout and tagout, so the work is done on de-energized equipment wherever the job allows.
Where we work
We are based at 2804 5th Avenue South in Irondale, just outside Birmingham, and travel to customers across the Southeast.
